Would it be ok to just upgrade my GPU on my first generation i7 system to just play games like Far Cry 3, Crysis 3, Skyrim and BF4 or will there be a huge bottle neck in trying to run these games at full graphics? And if old i7 system ok which GPU would be best for my needs without wasting tons of money on a high end GPU that will not get the bang for my buck?
I don't use the computer for high end graphics rendering. I just play games and do basic home stuff on it.
I do plan on maybe adding on a Samsung 840 EVO SSD or Crucial M500 for main OS drive and high end games.
I been looking at the reviews on NVidia GTX 770 and 780. Have some money to spend on maybe a GPU upgrade now or save for a new upgraded overall system?
