$800 Gaming Rig for a friend (OS Needed)

Alright, so a friend of mine is looking to build a gaming rig sometime in the near future and needed a part list. He's got an $700-800 budget and this is what he needs:

Everything essential for the rig (motherboard, memory, etc.)
Wi-Fi enabled because he doesn't want to have to buy an adapter for it
Windows 8.1 as the OS

All $800 can be dedicated to the rig as he has a monitor and stuff already, he just needs the parts for the rig as well as the case.

I've heard bad things about Biostar motherboards, is there a better alternative that is slightly more expensive/around the same price?
