What happens when I hit max GPU temperature?

Hi all!

I'm running a msi twin frozr ii/oc gtx 560 ti and I was wondering what would happen to my PC when my GPU hits the max temperature, which I've set through MSI afterburner (90C). Will it just restart my PC?

The reason I'm asking is because I'll be leaving my PC on with GPU at max load for a few hours. It's currently at 69C full load, but it went up to 85C yesterday while I was monitoring it.

i suggest you use the afterburner and set a higher fanspeed/temperature setting on the user defined fan speed tab.
If your card overheats it might start acting up and show artifacts, you might get some crashes/safety shutdowns, your mobo might start beeping, or your card might burn out.
