Cant boot windows 8.1

So I tried to wipe my HDD and reinstall windows but when my computer restarted I saw the MSI boot screen but then it went black so I restarted tried to press delete to go to bios but it didn't work because for some reason the keyboard doesn't work until after the MSI bios screen so I can't get to please help I need this computer!

Thanks for your help but I figured it out I just unplugged the HDD sata cable from the mother board forcing it to boot from the disk drive and I was then able to set the boot priorities to the disk drive and all is fine now.
