Recently built computer in Nov 2013 black friday weekend

i5 3570k overclocked to 4.3ghz
asrock z77 extreme 4
xonar dg sound card pci
gtx 550ti
550w antec powersupply
I just upgraded to an asus gtx660 and now I'm having problems with crackling and choppy audio in video's and while playing games. I'm not sure how to fix the problem and would like some insight.
While playing games I experience no video hiccups just sound. I have tried switching the slots of the graphics card and the sound card. I have also tried uninstalling the drivers for both.
