You may need to assign a drive letter to the drive. You did not say what operating system you are using. if you are using windows go to control panel and disk management and if you see your usb drive and now drive letter right click and enable a drive letter.
It might also be that you have hidden the files or folders so you need to go to properteries and unhide the files and folders
