I have a Dynet 2GB DDR2 ram....
My ram says, "DDR2 800(5) 2GX16 which I can't understand... I want to upgrade additional 2GB... So, what are the things sholud I consider? Thanks in advance!

Yeah... You are correct... It is 1.8V... But I'm surprised to see that there is an option called DRAM Frequency which is 266.3MHz... What is that? Is it my ram speed?

I guess you're seeing that under the "Memory" tab, that's the current speed your memory is working, being DDR = Dual Data Ram, your 266mhz are actually multiplied by 2, so it's working at 533mhz.

Your current memory might work at 800mhz (SPD should report it's official max speed) but right now it's only at 533mhz due to the CPU:RAM ratio (which you can see right under DRAM Frequency tagged "FSB : DRAM").

SPD tabs says, Max Bandwidth : PC2-5300 (333MHz),
Table Frequencies : 200MHz + 266MHz + 333MHz

"My ram says, "DDR2 800(5) 2GX16"

Being your max frequency reported by the SPD as 333Mhz (which means 333.x multiplied by 2 = 667mhz) seems like the sticker or wherever you got that info of DDR2800 is wrong, your ram module is actually a DDR2@667, though to be honest no idea what that (5) 2GX16 means, or is that the info from your mobo?

It is from the RAM sticker!

Heh, could be a mistake from the factory or some devious seller... anyways..... unless you're gonna use your pc for handling databases or video editing, you won't tell the difference between 533 or 800mhz (even on video editing the difference might be unnoticeable).

I have another two questions...
1) can I put 800MHz RAM in 533MHz slot?
2) My MOBO has two slots. So It supports 2+2=4GB of RAM?

1) Yes, your mobo slots are designed for DDR2 so they're able to handle whatever a DDR2 module can reach (what will happen is that if you have a 533mhz module paired with a 800mhz module, the 800 one will drop it's frequency to 533 in order to match the lowest of your configuration).

2) that's right, your mobo is limited to a max 4GB of RAM.

Thanks bro... Gonna buy "Transcend DDR2 2 GB PC RAM (JM800QLU-2G)". Hope pin configuration wont be an issue... :)
