Can anyone help. I have a blackberry 9900. As I took my battery out it caught on the corner of the micro sd card and snapped. The half of the card with the data is still deep in the phone and theother half in my hand, it is just a plastic peice with no metal storage conductor on it, so all what I need is in the hidden half. I am in tears as it holds precious pics and videos of my dear daughter who was murdered, and her childrens pics are on there too. Can anyone help.?I live in HERTS.

If only the plastic piece is broken can't you still view the pictures on your phone?
If so, then just connect a USB cable between your phone and a pc and transfer your pictures to the PC.
Page 29 of your phone's user manual will show you how to transfer files.

If you can't view the pictures on your phone then here's a company that can help: http://flash-datarecovery.co.uk/memory-cards
You can also search for other companies. Just go to your search engine and type "Broken SD card recovery", or something to that affect.

See if you can remove the card from your phone with any tweezers that you have in your house. If you can't remove the card using ordinary tweezers then you need to buy watchmaker's tweezers and see if that will work.

I don't know what type of watchmaker's tweezers to suggest but it's probably best to get one that is non-magnetic. It's also probably best to get a set which has different sizes since you don't know which one is small enough to retrieve the card in your phone.
Here's an example of one set: http://www.esslinger.com/epoxy-coated-stainless-tweezers-set-6-pcs.aspx
Here's the full line of watchmaker's tweezers: http://www.esslinger.com/watchmakertweezers.aspx

I don't know if this company is in the UK or not. If not, you can do a search for "Watchmaker's Tweezers" to find a company near you.

Good Luck
