  1. Assuming the graphics card is an AGP 4x/8x graphics card and it's properly installed in the top brown slot on your motherboard, it should work just fine. Exactly what video card do you have?

  2. thx for your help. all i can come up with is that its a radeon ddr video card.
  3. and yes it is an agp card. 1 thing i didnt notice when i got the motherboard is that there was no plug-in for the monitor so i guess its kind of critical that i find the right card??

The problem here is that we're dealing with such old technology that it's difficult to determine where the fault is. I can't tell if it's a bad graphics card or if your motherboard is shot. About the only thing I could recommend is purchasing a new graphics card and hoping that it works. The problem with that, however, is that most cards that should work with your computer are no longer supported by their manufacturers.

The cheapest of the few exceptions to that is this HIS Radeon HD4350 AGP 4x/8x for $60.
