Hey guys,

I've been in a kind or dilemma. Should I get a gaming laptop or PS4? Which will last me longer in the next-gen world? Will games look better on PS4 or PC? I'm going to get a strong pc if i see pc as a better choice. So what do you guys say? Right now, I'm leaning towards a $1600 PC but it can change. I've played games on my pc with keyboard+mouse and controller(xbox360) but I had to put settings on low :(. I've played ps3 at my friends house and i liked the no-lag and quick response(although the graphics were not as good as expected). I need professional advise.

Umm...yea, about that, i need it to be portable. I'm going to take it to school and journeys. Desktops are much cheaper but laptops are portable.

Thanks!!! Now i my liking for pc has gotten stronger. Still not completely solid though. Oh and thanks for advising the acer laptop, but I'm not a big fan of them, and i need better specs too.

Yes, that is one of my problems, but I am not going to get the best of the best. I will try to stay on the $1600 zone.

I would build a small mini-ITX desktop PC in your position. Would be just as portable as a PS4, with better specs, and the obvious PC advantage of being able to play practically any game of the last 20 years. It can even be hooked up to TVs just like a PS4.

I'm avoiding overclocking parts mainly for heat reasons.

Would destroy a PS4:

If you got 1600$ you can buy a decent laptop to study and take it to ur school and buy a ps4 it could even be cheaper. Also if you are the type of gamers who love couch coop like me :D a ps4 is the one for you.

Go to Xoticpc.com or amazon and get a laptop with a gtx970m for way under your budget. You'll get both a no sacrifices gaming system as anything since the 870m is faster than a ps4, and a kick ass laptop. Remember, if you get a PS4 and a $600 Laptop, you'e still getting a mid level laptop with a crap screen. After that enjoy Steam Sales and watch the savings role in.
