Yeah, it'll work. Connect the cable to your PSU cable that says 'CPU' and then connect the other part to your motherboard 4 or 8 pin CPU power header. It depends on what CPU you have on wether to connect just the single 4-pin or both cables together to make the 8pin.
You can't fail this, since these cables only go one way. You can't connect it to something else, because it won't fit.
