I need to know what settings to tweak in the bios to get the motherboard to recognize 16 gb of memory. The computer will only boot with four gigs.
f3-14900cl9d-8gbsr ddr3 1866 pc314900 cl9-10-9-28 1.5v I tried changing the memory to be 1866 an also enabled intel xmp but that didn't work.

F3-14900cl9d-8gbsr is an 8GB kit. You are attempting to combine two 8GB kits. That might work but it isn't guaranteed to work. XMP settings are for an 8GB kit, not two 8GB kits.

From G. Skill FAQ:

Q:
I want to install more memory, in addition to my existing memory kit. What are my options?

A:
We do not recommend mixing memory kits, regardless of brand or model.

By mixing memory kits together, there may be compatibility issues such as unable to boot or unable to operate at rated specifications.

Each of our memory kit are thoroughly tested to ensure compatibility within each memory kit. And because we have not tested our memory kit with your existing memory kit, we cannot guarantee compatibility when multiple kits are used.

The motherboard will not recognize two sticks of ram or even 8 gigs. According to gskill's description shouldn't it recognize at least 8 gigs?
How do I put in 16 gigs or ram?
