Greetings, I recently replace my Gigabyte NVidia GeForce GTX480 with a Palit NVidia GeForce GTX660 Ti. This has cause a lot of problems and the problems persist.

The main problem is that the startup make take up to 30 minutes for it to be stable enough to be used. I used to be able to edit my photos using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom without any problems but now the photos take a few seconds to render after some changes. I also used to be able to play games such as Skyrim, Borderlands 2 and Batman Arkham City. Now, at some point in the game the screen start to show squares of different colours and the screen goes blank. Soon after, the display comes back but in most cases, it doesn't unless I restart my system. For higher graphic games such as CoD: Ghosts and Battlefield 4, I can't even get past the intro cutscene without crashing.

The specs for my PC are as below.
Intel Core 2 Quad
Gigabyte G41M Combo
4GB RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Gigabyte GE-N500A-C2 PSU

My questions are
Is Palit a good brand? I've never used the brand before and I was sceptical on how cheap the unit is.
I've read a few threads and I'd like to ask if the PSU is related to the problem.
Should I get a replacement for my hardware or exchange it with something else of the same price range?
