GTX 760 Vs GTX 660 for 3dsmax, Maya, Adobe cc

I'm about to by a new graphics card for my PC and I am confused between
GTX 760 and GTX 660, I mainly use 3dsmax, Maya, Sketch Book, most of Adobe cc suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Indesign, Premiere and Audition) 2014 versions.
My PC specs as following:
CPU : Intel i7 4770
Ram : 16 GB "1600 CL9" Gskill
SSD : 128 GB Adata sx910
HDD : 2 TB Seagate
Mobo: Gigabyte B85
................................
If the advantage is for gaming performance I don't need it.
Can any one help me ?

760 is a 660 with OC. Better a 760.

The best performance in the view/work windows in 3D Max is with a Quadro (very expensive) but a 770 may be good. I have a 780ti, and the modeling windows go smooth, but in complex scenes (fot exemple 20 trees with 100000 polys) it drops down the framerate in that work windows. With a good Quadro it should be fine with that complex scenes, but are very expensive.

If you want do GPU render, go for the 780 or 780ti or Titan. 760/770 are very slow in Octane or VrayRT.

The advantage would be for gaming only, for your applications, none bro. The main thing you need is a powerful CPU and a generic GPU. SInce you already have a powerful CPU, then get the 660 bro. :) But if price isn't that much of a difference, then why not 760.
