USB 3.0 isn't working

I'm using a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 v4 motherboard and when plug a USB 2.0 device into the USB 3.0 port the device isn't recognized by the computer. but for example if its a phone or a external hard drive then the light comes on or the the device charges but is still not recognized. I've looked around for drivers which might solve this problem but cant seem to find any. The USB ports i'm trying to fix are on the rear i/o so aren't at the top of my case or anything.

Are you sure you installed the Etron USB 3.0 Driver for your mobo? If you downloaded latest drivers instead of using the ones that came with the CD make sure you've downloaded the ones for your exact mobo revision.
