I booted up my PC and heard the fan spinning incredibly fast and wild, I'm not sure what the problem is, I can't even get to log in, it says "disk check failure" or something along those lines. I can use a laptop to webcam and show the problem, my email is Dr._Ludicrous@Hotmail.com

Please help.

The cpu cooler fan will usually spin up at max at first boot.
Once the motherboard can read the cpu temperatures, it will slow down to idle.
But, if you have a poorly mounted cpu cooler, your cpu temperature may remain dangerously high.
What cpu cooler do you have, and is it mounted well?

Don't know about disk check failure. Possibly your boot drive is not connected or failing.

I have no idea, and this doesn't sound normal. I've had this PC for 2 years and it's never made a sound like this.
