Hi, so im just doing my driver updates and im wondering do I need to install the driver which came on the disk and on the website were you download the drivers, do I just download the latest driver or all of them?

Also is this the same for my cpu and gpu, just the latest drivers? I have a asrock z77 extreme4 mobo, i5 3570k cpu and a msi gtx 760 twin frozr.

Solution
All drivers, principally gpu driver, it is the most important since it optimizes most games performance, install the gpu driver on it's website.

Your motherboard came with a disc, right? In that disc came teh BIOS and driver settings for the mobo to support teh cpu, beside never install gpu drivers with teh cd in teh box, get the latest ones in the GPU's site (Nvidia or AMD), since gpu's usually come with old drivers of the time the gpu was made.

Bare with me, first time doing this lol, so I put the disk in and the drivers, utilities and other stuff popped up. Do I just install all the drivers? Or only certain ones?

After I install the mobo, gpu and cpu drivers, is there any other driver I need?

What else to install? Depends on what else you have.

This is what I do (too frequently, win7 just don't like me).

I install chipset drivers from CD (coz the manufacturer doesn't have newer ones on their website)
Install latest GPU drivers from website.

I got so bored of downloading drivers I just have them all in one folder (different harddisk) so when its time to reinstall/install I have ALL my drivers already ready, just have to doubleclick them. Remember to also get DirectX9 and Windows updates.
I also burned a DVD with the drivers, in case the other harddisk decides to die on me.
