activate windows message

a 'activate windows check ur pc settings' message sometimes shows on my desktop screen,so i checked my setting but there it shows my windows is activated..how can i solve tis problem,plz help

start cmd.exe as admin (windows key +x then type A)
slmgr.exe /xpr <- this will run a script that will tell you when/if your versions will expire

mine does a popup that says "The machine is permanently activated"

your might say something like "volume activation expires on date : xx/xx/xxxx"

You can also get this if your key has been used on other machines and/or it is a pirate key or key hack.
if that is the case, i would wipe the OS and reinstall with a valid key. (wipe because of malware in the pirate versions and legal issues)

I would think you could also get this if you restored or reinstalled a OEM version of the OS even on the same machine. The activation is a several step process, the OEM will...
