Hi,
I would like to game at hopefully at 1080p on at least medium settings. I also would like to record (maybe lower the video game settings a bit) at 720p at least at 30fps. here is my rig

1TB Western Digital Caviar Blue Hard Drive
8GB 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM
AMD FX-6300 6 Cores 3.5 Ghz
Corsair Builder Series CX500 Watt Power Supply Unit
ASUS M5A78L-M USB3 Motherboard
Corsair Carbide Series 300R-Tower Gaming Case
Asus Radeon R7 260X
Lite On DVD Burner 24x SATA III

is it good enough

I also might want to record some horror games with a webcm aswell as Dxtory so will that work too?

More about : rig good gaming recording

It should be fine for recording at medium settings at 720p. Some games you might be able to record at high.

No, there is no point for an i7 in a streaming/gaming build.

No, AMD is not terrible for gaming at all. Please do not make random incorrect generalizations.
