Whats the difference between the asus m5a99x evo r2.0 and the pro r2.0 version? Whats your pick when it comes to their features? I'll be putting an fx6300 and a sapphire r9 280x toxic on it and probably a cm hyper 212 evo for simple ociing.

The Pro is better if you want to run two graphics cards in Crossfire.

The Evo has an extra PCI-E x1 slot, useful if you want to add a wireless card for example.

i think
m5a99x evo r2.0 is based on AMD 990X chipset but m5a99fx pro r2.0 -on AMD 990FX chipset .The main difference is better support of SLI and Crossfire . The first both cards will run at x8 but on the second (pro) at x16 . But there would be no noticable difference . So go for evo.
