PC boots in one tower but not the other...

My old atx full tower case was missing motherboard screw in holes...whatever they're called, and began rattling. It was also missing a multitude of other things (screws, expansion slot cover sheets, dust filters, and more) so I thought it was time for a new case. I bought a Rosewill galaxy mid tower case from newegg...and the size difference was noticeable; my cords are scrunched up and stretched across the motherboard, and it looks pretty cramped.

So, when I screwed everything in and turned it on, everything began running. I noticed the processor fan was spinning slower in the new case then in the old and that the monitor displayed no info...the BIOS didn't boot. I know the monitor works fine b/c I was just using it in the old case; My brother seems to believe it's the power supply, but I don't get why. So after about 2 hours of removing the CMOS battery, removing everything and plugging it back in, and moving the CMOS 1 connector to the other slot, it didn't boot the BIOS. I moved all parts to the old case and it of course it worked...I just don't get it.

The Errors So Far (in the new atx mid-tower case)

1: I hold power button down for about 30 sec, it doesn't shut down; I have to eject the power cord. I know that I have the power and reset switch in properly, I directly followed the manual, and I'm also sure b/c that's how it was set up in my old case which it does shut down when I hold the power button

2: There is no display or any indication that the computer has successfully booted into the BIOS. I have confidence it's not graphics issue b/c it shows the computer not only booting into the BIOS, but also the OS in the old case. I also don't think it's a power issue, b/c the power supply worked just fine in the much more spacious, but practically destroyed, old case.

3: Sometimes the processor decides to work, and sometimes doesn't...the fan spinned and then stopped every once in a while during this dilemma. As I said above, I noticed that the fan spins slower in this case, I know this because I can see the sticker more clearly in this one than I could in the older one. The processor 4-pin power connector stretches practically the length of the case and it's a very, very tight fit, the motherboard was practically bending when I connected it...so I think this could be the problem...but probably not.

Uhhhh in the new case, yes, I screwed in 6 of them and then placed the mobo on top, but the ones in the old one...broke off. And sorry, I accidently hit tab when writing out my problem
