I have the old PC game Lord of the Rings Return of the King ... I had to get a bigger hard drive and when installing the game nothing happens ... It opens up, and I put in the key, then when I get to where the file goes I click ok ... and nothing happens. I tried copying the first disc to my computer and installed it with the set up exe file ... the same thing happens ... I've installed this game several times in the past and never had this problem before. Is there something I'm missing on the new hard drive that won't allow the game to install? When I go to the add and remove programs I see it there as an incomplete install. If I try to start over again the auto load won't work ... I try to open the file on the disc and use the set up but that won't work either. I have XP Pro 32 bit for an OS. I had no problem installing it on the old hhd with XP OS. I have all the XP updates installed now.
