Looking to build a gaming desktop for around $1000 to play Dayz, Arma 3, and BF4.

Solution
You'd get great performance on either build, honestly. On the overclocking build, you'll get slightly higher FPS, but it won't be that noticeable. You should be able to hit close to max, if not max, on very very smooth FPS on both builds.

Thanks for the quick reply. It seems as if I might be able to have a little more cash by the time I get to actually order parts. So I will have $1000 to put towards the build alone not including keyboard, mouse, and monitor. What be a good build for $1000?

I appreciate your dedicated support. I have one last question, what do you think the FPS I could get with either build. I am not very experienced with OCing as I game on an M14xR2 at the moment and you cant really OC a laptop. I am looking to run these games on the highest settings possible for the budget I have. Do you have any input?
