How does this look for a $1300 Editing/ Gaming build that can be upgraded and expanded in Memory, SSD's/HDD's, GPU's, and future Haswell-E CPU's.

CPU: i7 4770k OC to 4.4ghz

GPU: EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX760

MOBO: ASUS Z87-A LGA 1150

MEMORY: 16gb (2x8) G.SKILL Ripjaws X 1866

STORAGE: Adata Premier Pro 128gb SSD/ 1TB WD Blue 7200rpm

PSU: Seasonic S12G-750 750W

CPU COOLER: Corsair H80i

CASE: Fractal Design Define R4 Arctic White

Get 4570k and spend a bit more on the GPU and MEMORY.

well ONLY a socket 2011v3 motherboard will support Haswell-E CPUs so if you want support for Haswell-E you will need to wait till Haswell-E in released.

Should I go for a 4820k socket 2011 even though it is slightly less powerful than the 4770k just to get the 2011 socket to be able to upgrade later?

Haswell-E will have its own chipset. Current motherboards are not compatible with Haswell-E.

i7, Platinum PSU, DUAL BIOS GTX 760, Seagate HDD (WD BLACK HDDs are wayyyy overpriced), the build you picked doesn't even include a CPU cooler, This one has the best air cooler with RAM room on the market. Smaller form factor with room for SLI or other PCI cards.
