Hey
I am looking for a cooler which can do it's best job to cool "E" i7 CPUs like Ivy-B-E and Haswell-E.
Suggest me a closed loop liquid cooler OR air cooler (one thing to watch out here is the ram - I won't go search for low profile ram, sorry, so pls don't offer something which would make a problem). You can also offer me a watercooling KIT.

One closed loop cooler i saw from Cooler Master had 360mm radiator, i think it was one of the Glacier series, so, do you think it would do better job than Corsair h100i or h105?

One more question - how good is a watercooling kit compared to blower cooler when you have 2 way SLI? Is it worth the leaking risk?

Solution
Extreme! Well I can't say or dare to say Liquid Nitrogen Cooling ;) But here are some options for you:

Cooler Master Nepton 280L 280mm rad
Corsair Hydro H110 280mmd rad (Though I would still prefer H100i)
Alphacool NexXoS MONSTA 360mm Radiator

I wish I could tell you that Noctua NH-14D is the powerful beast in air cooler but as you are describing the RAM space issue. You can still go for Noctua if you are using one or two RAMs. Man This air cooler has produced excellent results in its category.

Happy Hunting!

i would reccomend a REXADN hip2000 air cooler, it can cool anything down! also having a two way SLI, dont take the liquid cooler please! its not worth the leaking risk, the REXADN hip2000 is better than the s300! AND you dont have to worry about the leaking and all that shit :D also whats your budget?

I think you got the spelling of the cooler wrong, can you give me a link?

Sorry for double post

the best performance would be custom loop or a kit, the second would be nzxt x60 or h105, only after these would come the air coolers, it all depends on how much you are planing on oc'ing if you want to get most you will need a custum loop, otherwise h105 is at the best prebuilt one in price/performance

The thing is guys,

I was trying to walk around the SLI and get my best performance only with 1 card on a 1440p 3D vision. However as I asked around the forums, everyone said that this is impossible to do with only single GPU, so really I don't have a choice for not going SLI.

I know however that cards these days are very power efficient but whatever case I have, SLI would be just hotter and I will not get the best from the two cards unless I watercool them (which eliminates noise as well :) )

Another thing - I am thinking about also mining some LiteCoins (not Bitcoins - they are only profitable using ASICS). As I see AMD has perfect cards, but judging from the GTX 750 and 750Ti, Nvidia is going to challenge AMD in some coin mining performance with Maxwell, and so that's really my reason for waiting the GTX 800s.

Hopefully Asus will be coming up with another monitor till the end of the year which will be 3D 1440p, since the 1440p monitors have been around quite some time now, it is already time to give them the 3D and go on with the 4K. However with my build, I also wanna cover the performance required for Oculus Rift VR, since i found out that they require an absolute minimum 60FPS on 3D vision at 1080p and recommends 120FPS, now that sounds like achievable, but seeing that not all games can be maxed on 3D at 60FPS at this resolution (one reason why GTX780Ti isn't an overkill!), doing an SLI, I can make sure I get close to the recommended FPS for future VR games.

I will also be doing video/picture editing using photoshop and other software (ShadowPlay included!). I will make sure that my Haswell-E 8-core CPU is used fully.

My guess is that I will probably wait for the 800s and give an SLI of GTX 860s or 870s. That will be an equal or even more performance than the upcoming GTX790.

So yeah, thanks guys for the suggestions, I will probably look at EK and Swiftech watercooling and go from there... :) However if not a full loop, thanks to EasyLover for the suggested and from all of you guys too, may pick some of them... surely Corsair and other companies will come up with something new and better, so i will just be looking at the market.

Good luck and also check Swiftech H320 as well :)
