Hello,

I need a headset. I tried to shop for one myself, but I have no idea what I am looking at. I have never bought a headset in my life. I've been using ear buds recently, which are good for working out, but are just bad for anything else.

I want to use it for mainly gaming, audio books, and music.

I would like it to have the 3.5mm connectivity for my smartphone and laptop, built in microphone. I always prefer wired over wireless, unless the headset would come with some built in recharging system.

I do like the big muffs (Circumaural) to remove external factors and noise.

I don't need anything overly awesome. Just need something that will do.

Some brands I like and prefer: Samsung, Logitech, Corsair, Asus.

Would it be possible to get one for $70-$80? (i have a 10 dollar off new egg code).

This one seemed to be everything I want, but it seems a little pricey:

Personally I use the gamecom 780's these provide 7.1 surround so are great when gaming, They provide fairly good bass and clear sound when listening to music, and well for audiobooks.. Its an audiobook. They are very comfortable to wear and have lasted me over a year already and show no signs of wear and tear. Here is a link if you want to take a good :)

The only think is this headset is USB, Which would be a problem if you want to use them with your smart phone :/

Those look pretty good, but like you said, it won't work on my smartphone unfortunately.
