I purchased a Asus H81M-A Intel H81 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard, last year impulse buy as it was cheap along with an, Intel Core i5-4570 3.20GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor combined with generic ram that would get me along the way until i could buy something better. Now to my dismay i realized the mobo states "DDR3 1600/1333/1066", but the new ram I've bought is Corsair Vengeance RED 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17100C11 2133MHz Dual Channel.
Is it at all possible to enable the ram to run at 2133 instead of the mobos max of 1600? Kind of stuck any help appreciated :)

Thanks for the reply, would the difference between the 2133 and 1600 be major? And there is definately not a way to achieve 2133 without a mobo change. Is that right :D ?
