Updating BIOS Then Overclocking.

Hello. So I just built my new PC and I'm thinking about overclocking. The thing is I want to update my BIOS first.

My motherboard is the Asus Maximus VI Hero, Processor is the i7 4770K and PSU is RM 850 by Corsair.

I've looked all over and I can't find a tutorial on updating my BIOS. If one of you guys can show me that would be awesome! Thanks.

Also, would you guys recommend updating my BIOS before overclocking? I hear updating the bios can be somewhat risky... Is it worth the risk, will it change anything if I overclock without updating the BIOS, right now my BIOS version is 1002.
