Asus P5G41T-M LX3 can run in x2 2gb ddr3 RAM

Guys my mobo have 2 slots for ddr3 ram, my other 1 slot having 2gb ddr3 ram and i want to add 1 more 2gb ddr3 ram, equivalent for 4gb ram overall.. i want to know if my mobo can run or compatible in 4gb equivalent ram.. tnx peeps..

Yes, but try to match the speed, timings, make, etc. of the 1st stick exactly. Dual channel memory mode is quite picky about the sticks being IDENTICAL.

Yes, you can run 2 x 2Gb.....

If this is your motherboard, it shows it supports DDR3 1333Mhz speed. You want to Match the other DIMM exactly if you can for best results.

Download and install "CPU-Z" The memory tab will show you what you have (or, just get the manufacturer and part number off the DIMM in the system).
- DRAM Frequency: 666Mhz (is most likely... could be 533Mhz too just double this number)
- CAS# : this will be the "CL" number when you goto pick out your new DIMM values of 8, 9, 10 are typical
- other values are Not important...

Sir, want to ask how can i set or match the speed, timings, etc.. in my first ddr3 ram?

how about if 4gb ddr3 memory?
