I am wondering if I I stall say reason a music production software onto my ssd it will have 20g scratch ie sound samples could I install that onto the hdd? Keeping the programe on the ssd? Also is it worth putting pc games on the ssd like call of duty ghosts? It's 50g thanks. I will be putting my O'S on the ssd. I just want to know what else it good for.

You can install programs on any drive.
They always ask you what drive you want to install it on.

Document don't have to be on the SSD.

Basically any thing you want to load fast, put on the SSD,

Many games don't access the hard drive after you load them, as long as you have enough memory
Not a gamer, so I don't know which ones.

I do Flight Sim though, and that dose access the drive, no matter how much memory I have.
There is just too much scenery to hold it all in memory.

So in that case I would want the program on the SSD, and I hope it will be soon.
Only have hard drives at the moment.
Edit
I know in Photoshop, you want the scratch drive to be fast, because when SSD first came out, people were using them for scratch drives for Photoshop
