PC to wireless monitors

Solution
The wireless monitor part is getting fairly common since they are making HDMI extenders mostly to allow remote display of television. You might also get the touchscreen to work with a USB extender.

This project is basically reinventing the wheel. They sell a huge number tablet computers what you want and all you do is put it in a pretty frame. I suspect it is cheaper to just buy a device than messing around with any extenders or even some touch screen panel.

To expand on this a bit, seems silly to buy a pc for the kitchen just for recipes/facebook/music, when my pc is strong enough to play mindcraft and server up the screens for the kitchen. Is this doable?
