Tax time is here, so I am finally building my wife's new computer. Convinced her to get away from laptops and go back to a tower system, so building this from the ground up. I already have a tenative build planned, but would love any last minute thoughts of anything that I should alter. If you have a suggestion, please tell me why.
She will use the computer primarily for Gaming (World of Warcraft is the heaviest load), social networking, and some very light graphic design.
The goal is to be able to run games at high graphics settings and still maintain a high framerate.
Our budget will be between $800 - $1400 (Trying to keep it lower without sacrificing performance)
I favor newegg as a retailer, but will buy elsewhere

Your CAS 10 DDR3 1600 RAM could certainly be improved. You can get CAS 9 DDR3 1866 RAM for cheaper.

G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR $84.99 + 10% off w/ promo code EMCPWHW42

The power supply is not a great option. The Thermaltake TR2 is a tier 5 NOT RECOMMENDED PSU on this tiered list.

Here's an excellent PSU:

SeaSonic G Series SSR-550RM $85.99

There are much better options than those old Zalman coolers. I've had great luck with this one:

XIGMATEK Gaia SD1283 $36.99
