WLAN Driver will not install! :(

My laptop is a Toshiba C660. So I had buy a new hard drive because my old one got corrupt and I installed windows off of a usb, but of course the drivers werent installed so I downloaded all of the drivers off the toshiba website for my specific model number but when I went to install the wlan drivers they wouldnt install.. Any ideas why this could be happening? Any help would be much appreciated. Thankyou. If it helps at all this on Windows 7.

Were you connected to the internet when it was searching?

obviously you cant connect wirelessly so you will have to be plugged in to a router either by a network port , or perhaps via USB

I entered device manager and I was missing the 'Network Controller' I click on it and the device status is,
"The Drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

There is no driver selected for the device information set or element.

To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver"

So I clicked update driver and I get the option to search automatically for updated driver software and it doesn't find any results. There is an option to "Browse my computer for driver software" but when I went to find the install of the driver it wasnt to be found :(

No I was not connected while it was searching, I was using another laptop to download the drivers.

yeh it worked, shouldve thought of that earlier :p just plugged in an ethernet cable and clicked update driver and walla. thanks for the help and the fast replys :)
