I had an issue earlier today when I was removing somethings, I tried to load up a game and it said "Cannot load Direct3D" or something close to that. I read that it was a driver issue. So I got the auto-detect AMD graphics driver program. and ran that, got all the updates and everything installed. Went to try game again and it gave the same issue.

So I read "then reset". So I did, thinking there as no problem. Well now, it will show the motherboard load screen, and then will show the win8 logo and the loading circle at the bottom but as soon as that finishes. Like when it goes to the log in screen. It just dies. And then there will be some ever so slight flash of red orange (color of my log in screen) and then black again.

I am somewhat tech savvy but Im not sure what to do from here.. I tried different cords and monitors and several restarts. Some help would be very much loved.

The card I'm using is a: AMD Radeon7870 ~ And on a side note I've never had an issue with this card before.. So now I'm not sure what to do.

UPDATE~

Just put it one of my old video cards and the problem persists.. So I guess I know it wasn't my card. :/ I tried looking for my problem but seem to only find backlighting and laptop issues.

Please help x.x

You could try to get into safe mode (http://www.7tutorials.com/5-ways-boot-safe-mode-windows-8-windows-81) and wipe everything VGA driver and DX related, then try to boot.

What windows You use? Try to re-insrert VGA, RAM, other devices in PCI-e slots, check all sata ports for good connection, then get into BIOS and reset to factory defaults. Try to boot.

I've been able to get into the bios and I believe its just the basic Windows 8 OS. It only bugs the display out after it goes through the win 8 loading process. But will do that now, thanks for the help!

Welp I tried to get it to boot into safe mode lol. But no luck with that.. If feel like i'm gonna have to end up resorting to a HDD format and re-installing windows 8..... Which if I have to do that i'm just going to downgrade to 7. The only reason I didn't do that before was because I didn't want to re-download all my games.

Thanks for your help though, it's appreciated.
