Drivers on ssd or hdd?

I recently got a 840 evo so I decided to fresh install my os into it. My question is should important drivers (video cards, motherboards, etc.) go into my ssd or hdd? And once I fully update my os how I should wipe my hdd?

When a driver installation prompts you for a path, this is just for the install files.
These are only required when installing, uninstalling or upgrading the driver.
Particularly video drivers can be large, so just install these files to your hdd.
