We get it. You don't like AMD. Get over yourself.
Yeah, that must be why in 20+ years, all my CPUs save the very first and the current used to be AMD (well, I think there was also one Cyrix 6x86).
Wisecracker :
The AMD Athlon X4 750K Trinity adds $30-$40 to the video card budget (which needs serious help). The GTX650 is holding back this rig ... not the Athlon X4 750K.
This is simply not true. AMD currently manufactures weak CPUs as it is, and even among those the Athlon line is the budget class. The Athlon just performs horrible compared to what other CPUs the market currently has to offer.

Either would smash the GTX650 in gaming, which is the point after all, huh?
The prime point in gaming is being able to play. If your GPU is too weak, you can tone down details. If your CPU is too weak, you can do nothing. Besides, I have witnessed myself how my fps at high details majorly went up after replacing my CPU with a better model (same graphics card), so the concept of possible graphics detail level depending only on the GPU is proven wrong.
