Hi guys,
A year ago my laptop died and I had to build a new pc on a very tight budget.
Currently I game with a AMD Phenom II x4 975, Nvidia GTX 460, ASRock 970 Extreme3, Corsair Vengeance 8GB RAM Setup.
Now I noticed that the GTX 460 isn't that good after all, even when I play WoW it had trouble running the fps higher then 10 when shit went down.
I have a budget of $400,-
Can you guys advise me what I should change out in this system, I thought about running SLI but I was stupid enough to buy an AMD base so that isn't possible unless I change that out.
Also this phenom runs kind of hot really quickly and I was thinking of watercooling it with the Corsair watercooling for CPU.
Thanks in advance,
Jos
PS: I mainly play Dota 2 nowadays, I know you can play that on basically anything that has a working motherboard in it, but besides that I do ocassionally play WoW, and would want to play Battlefield 4 and other shooters, the upcoming Evolution from the makers of L4D, and I do play a lot of GRID 2 when I feel like it.
I also have a goal to make my PC run faster, I would like to buy an SSD to replace my current 7200RPM HDD, if that would fit in the budget.
