I'm at a complete loss here on what to do. My laptops had issues the past month or so so I decided to do a refresh. I chose the full option which deleted everything and went to sleep. When I woke up all seemed great. I went through the setup and created an account. When I went to log on the screen went black and showed my cursor. I found no matter what I did that this wouldn't not change. The screen would bounce from being off to being black batlit and cursor viewable.

My initial though was OK, go into safemode and disable the graphics. Once I finally got safemode the devices were not selectable. I restarted again and tried the shift+f8 thing to no luck.

Afew times at login screen I could hold shift and restart and it finally give me the advanced options.

Now when I try to the option to continue to win 8 is there and shutdown is. No longer advanced options.

I have all my drivers downloaded and on a USB key I just can't figure how to install the drivers to reclaim my laptop.

It came with no win 8 DVD or key. Nothing. I have no recovery points.

This is the reason I hate windows 8.
