Hello,

Since a few days now my PC will shut down at seemingly random moments, the PC tries to restart, but falls into a loop of trying to restart, shutting down, restart etc etc.. This continues until I flip the switch on the back of the PSU, open the tower and wobble the cables into the modular sockets on the PSU. Flip the switch back on and works fine again, until the next day i have the same problem and go through the same procedures.

I have the PC since approx 4-5 months without ANY type or errors previous to this, I have NOT overclocked and everything is at default settings.

What could the problem be? I doubt its the PSU, could this be a software problem?

My PC:

CPU: 4770k
MB: Asus Maximus VI Formula
Mem: corsair vengeance 2333's 16G
GFX: Asus GTX780
PSU: Corsair AX860I

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
Dan
