I run a computer repair shop and a customer's computer just came in! The customer said they want the hard drive wiped and windows 7 installed! Easy! But I connected the computer to my monitor and turned it on, nothing! I tried a different CPU, graphics card, RAM, disconnecting the disc drives! The fans spin up, but nothing on the monitor.
I think it is a BIOS problem! I also tried the Graphics card in another computer and it worked!

Is their any hope for this computer?:??:

SPECS
Intel-i5 2.66 GHz
MSI motherboard
500Watt power supply (noname brand)
MSI mini graphics card
6 GB OCZ Ram
LG DVD burner
2 1TB Hitachi Hard drives

Solution
It could be the motherboard is fried, if you had a different cpu I bet you had another motherboard it worked in, try all the parts except the mobo.
Does the mobo have onboard graphics? if so try that.
The bios might be setup to use the onboard graphics first. You can also take the CMOS battery out for about 5 mins to get the bios to reset to defaults.
It's also possible the CMOS battery is bad and you need a new one.

The Motherboard does not have onboard graphics, I will try removing the CMOS battery. When I got this computer the CPU heatsink was not installed correctly, Only 3 of the 4 tabs were pushed down! I reinstalled the heatsink and the 4th pin was vary hard to line up! Also the computer looks like it has been tampered with! One of the side screws is missing on each panel and the graphics card is missing the screw for the VGA output!
This computer looks as if the heatsink was never installed correctly and I wonder if the CPU did not have enough pressure on it and it slowly burnt out!
I will try what you suggested though!
