MSI Afterburner isn't working for me

I downloaded MSI Afterburner to try it out a while back and I liked it more than any other recording software that I've used before, but unfortunately for me, it doesn't want to record no matter what I do. I've set the hotkey as different things, uninstalled/reinstalled, etc, but the hotkey still refuses to allow it to record anything. Does anyone else have this issue?

What game are you trying to record. Currently afterburner has limitations with the recording of DX10"with some sampling settings" and DX11 programs. It wont show onscreen display for DX11 at all.

Get the newest beta that should work even in DX11.
