Sometimes color is just for style, other times it's because there is a slight difference in the clock timings. The vengeance series seems to mostly have the same clock timings, but slightly different voltages. Amazon usually sucks for PC shopping because they don't tell you the specifications adequately at all. I found theCorsair Vengeance White 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory (CML8GX3M2A1600C9W) for 96 on amazon
And the Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory (CML8GX3M2A1600C9) for 89.9
Btw the way should I go with crosqir vengeance or kingston hyoer x beast
