need help connecting zebra ql320 printer to my pc using a cord that i made from the pinout that zebra sent me from their website . im thinking its my db9 serial to usb adaptter i just got in the mail from ebay. it shows up as USB-SERIAL CH340 (COM9)- and the model shows as USB2.0-SER!...

Why not just use a bi-directional USB to serial cable such as this:

but i guess it may not be.

I don't see why your adapter wouldn't work. Have you configured the serial port in Windows to match what your printer needs?
