Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum and recently got into building my first HTPC. I've been reading posts from these forums for a long time but never joined. I have a question about upgrades to my HTPC. After hours of research I want to upgrade my current MoBo (not sure to which yet) and CPU to an Intel i7-3770K 3.5GHz and a Gygabite GV-N770OC-4GD GTX 770. My question is which PSU and what wattage to buy that can handle everything I have so far. I really appreciate your help! I also welcome any other suggestions to my current rig. Thanks!

Here are my current specs:

AMD A10-5800K APU
ASRock FM2A85X-ITX
Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced Case
Cooler Master Elite Power (460W)
Cooler Master GeminII M4 Heatsink
Kingston HyperX DDR3 8 GB
LG UH12NS30 Bluray Drive
3 x Seagate Backup Plus 4TB
Seagate 600 Series 240GB SSD
Windows 7 Professional 64 bit OS

Solution
a gtx770 will not pull more than 200w. 500w is more than enough to run it. Also, get an i5 for gaming, not an i7.

If I were you, I would get an XFX 500w unit. AMAZING quality for the price.

So I couldn't find a 500W unit but I did find the XFX Pro 550W and the XFX TS 550W, however, I am not sure whats the difference between the two other than one is Certified Gold. I'll probably just go with the cheaper model. Thanks!
