Hey, so I've been noticing a large amount of horizontal screen tearing when I'm trying to watch videos using chrome. It happens in other browsers, but not as heavily as in chrome, but chrome is my main browser so I;d like it to be fixed in that.

I just recently got a new gpu, a radeon hd 7750, and it has been working fine for gaming, but I just noticed this problem about last week, it's just become unbearable. I've been trying all the solutions other people suggested, reinstalling chrome, enabling v sync in the ccc, disabling hardware acceleration, and nothing seems to happen. I think it may be a problem with flash, but I'm not entirely sure of that.

Additional information- my monitor is connected to my pc using dvi (which I got brand new with the monitor about a month ago. This problem hasn't shown uptill about this weekend, any solution is appreciated, thanks

It could very well be an issue with Flash if games work fine, I would take a look into that area, it's a possibility. Also, are you sure it is with all of the videos? For example, I can see screen tear on a few videos because they were recording old gameplay footage that was very laggy and had screen tear, but it was not a hardware issue. It COULD be that, but if it happens for every video then it is an issue. I would recommend reinstalling your Display Drivers with a clean wipe and reinstallation.

Hey, I forgot to ad that Idid uninstall and reinstall my drivers, it did nothing. I really think it's an issue with flash, but like I said, I'm not certain. This doesn't happen in video games.

Does sound like it could be a Flash issue then. Try a reinstallation.
