What graphics card(s) to get for upgrade? 760GTX sli vs 770/780 vs comparable amd cards

Looking to upgrade, read reviews of the 760 oc editions doing better than titans and more in sli, kind of interested in them as i can get them locally for around 250 a set. What card or cards should I get to replace my xfire 7770s? My psu is 850 gold rated and specs will be posted below:

If you SLI 760s, you need the 4gb version, by the time you buy 2 4gb you almost spent as much as a 780ti, so why not buy a 780ti? SLI solutions usually only make sense when you need to SLI the highest end cards to get what you need. SLI'in the low end cards usually doesn't make much sense.

for 1080p gaming do i really need 4gb?

For 1080p all you need is 1 770 to max games out for a while. A 780 will be extremely futureproof at 1080p. A 760 will give good graphics on the demanding games and max the rest of them.
