Hey guys I'm currently running an 8350 in my personal gaming system, I wanna try Intel and I'm going to go with the 4670k, I don't see the value in the 4770k right now I'm mostly a gamer.

What is a good motherboard to overclock with this chip? Thanks guys, I have my eye on a few boards.

One other question. Will I even notice the difference? I've built plenty of systems with the 4770k for workstations but I have never gamed with the 4670k. My 8350 currently handles everything I just want to see better fps in older games and maybe smoother overall system performance, even though my system is fast.

Yea, I run an Asus sabertooth now and I love it so was aiming for asus. I want to be able to overclock without spending upwards of $200 if I can.

I'm using an ASUS Z87-A with my i5-4670k sitting comfy at 4.4GHz. It's a little cheaper than some of the other ASUS boards, but I've had absolutely no issues with it. OC'd like a champ (haven't tried maxing it out yet).

Ok cool thanks, I am considering a budget motherboard option instead of dropping $200.
