APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: I can wait, but the sooner the better ! BUDGET: (Cheapest I can get, $250 under? (AUS)

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Mainly for gaming, i'd like to be able to run games such as WoW, and upcoming future games on max settings on 1920x1080.

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: Current graphics card is an ASUS HD 6850, Power Supply is a Seasonic M12II 520W

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: www.pccasegear.com.au , www.centrecom.com.au , www.msy.com.au (I'm from Australia)

If there are any graphic cards that you guys can recommend, i'm more and happy to change my mind about the 270X.

Thanks, Andrew.

You will notice a significant improvement. See if you can find a gtx 760 near your price range down there.

Hi, thanks for the answer, do you think it's worth the extra $50 (AUS) to go from an R9 270X to a GTX 760 ? And performance wise is it better by a lot or?

For $50 extra it's not worth it, yes the 760 is a better card but not $50 extra better. I would only get the 760 if it was $20-25 more at most. Yeah the 270x is a great card, for me I get 60+ frames on BF4 Ultra with anti-aliasing deferred off and vsync off

Yea don't get it then, in the US 760s run close to $250 but I didn't know what prices were like over there.

In Australia and NZ, Nvidia is not popular because their prices are sky high, it's weird because in US the Nvidia cards are usually cheaper and AMD cards are expensive

I recommend the Sapphire Toxic 270x or Vapor X 270x

Just make sure your case will fit the Toxic card because it is a pretty lengthy card, if silence is something that matters to you then pickup the Vapor X which is the quietest 270x you can get but if you want the lowest temperature and don't care about noise get the Toxic edition
