I got a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 + Motorola SURFboard Modem, but have the same ISP (TWC)

Since I installed the new hardware, I've had problems with getting a fast connection (is randomly laggy) to a certain website. All other websites/internet programs work fine.

Is it possible that the problem is with the new router or modem? Has anyone ever heard of this?

Anything I can do?

Windows 7, 50 mb internet, same computer as before

It's truepoker.eu..

A poker site, so not only is this lag annoying but its costing me money. From communicating with the site I'm pretty sure the problem is on my end.

ISP is time warner cable. But as I said, the ISP didn't change, only my router + modem

I cannot ping truepoker.eu

I get request timed out four times
It says packets: sent =4 recieved =0

If I run a trace I get about 4-5 places listed then get about 8 request timed outs.

If I run a speed test for my speed (wired connection, NOT wifi) on http://www.speedtest.net/ or any other similar site, about half the time I get some super tiny number like 0.23 (or similar) as the download speed and about half the time I get 30+mbps. But again I have zero problem streaming videos, loading websites etc. I'm not sure if that's related, maybe thats standard.

Does that help?
