Recently in last 2 weeks, Chrome is taking forever to load internet sites and to access Gmail and download attachments.
I tried cleaning up my desktop and applications not used.
Plenty of storage and cpu capacity.
No issues with internet as I can access the same sites immediately through mozilla firefox and this includes loading up my email on google, before Chrome can get into google or load up it's own email. Downloads or attachments are also immediate, so I don't think it's my hardware or internet.
I use windows 8 which with chrome has worked reasonably until recently.
Can anyone help?
